AROMATHERAPY
At Grand Universe La Residenza, the Junior Suite Lavande is inspired by the plant of the same name, which is native to the inland mountainous areas of the Mediterranean region. Lavender, with its intense scent and small purple flowers, owes its name to the Latin word “lavare,” reflecting how popular it was since ancient times, precisely because of its refreshing scent and sanitizing properties.
The Romans used lavender to scent baths, beds, clothes and even their hair. They had also discovered some of its medicinal properties, and appreciated, for example, its soothing action on burns, reduction of anxiety, and ability to relieve muscle fatigue.
